Tourism Fund Highlights Sustainable Tourism Efforts Ahead of Mashujaa Day

Eldoret:The Tourism Fund has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sustainable tourism, developing tourism infrastructure, and enhancing skills in Kenya’s tourism and hospitality sector in anticipation of this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations.

According to Kenya News Agency, the Fund is showcasing its programs and interventions during the Mashujaa Day Thematic Week at The Eldoret National Polytechnic in Uasin Gishu County. This event highlights the Fund’s role in financing tourism development products and services, building capacity, and supporting sector sustainability.

The exhibition is part of the national activities leading up to the Mashujaa Day celebrations set for October 20 in Eldoret, which is hosting this year’s national event. The showcase offers an opportunity for stakeholders, tourism industry players, students, and the public to learn about the Fund’s mandate and its contributions to the growth and sustainability of the country’s tourism sector.

The Fund has encouraged visitors to explore its exhibition stand and engage with its representatives about its programs and initiatives aimed at reinforcing the tourism and hospitality industry. “Together, let us celebrate the heroes who inspire us and continue building a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable tourism industry for generations to come,” the Fund stated.
