Specialized Islamic Finance Company Approved to Issue JD10 Million Sukuk

Amman:The Specialized Islamic Finance Company (SIFC), a subsidiary of the Specialized Leasing Company and part of the Housing Bank Group, has received approval from the Jordan Securities Commission to issue Islamic financing sukuk. Each sukuk has a nominal value of JD10,000, totaling JD10 million, and will be offered for public subscription under the absolute Mudaraba structure.

According to Jordan News Agency, this approval highlights the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements for Islamic financing instruments and reflects confidence in its robust institutional foundations. It also underscores the company’s preparedness for continued market growth.

This development is part of SIFC’s strategy to diversify funding sources and deploy resources efficiently for market investment. The issuance of sukuk is a step towards advancing the company’s business development, enabling it to offer a range of Islamic financing solutions, including those for vehicles, real estate, and other Sharia-compliant products.

The sukuk offers a Sharia-compliant investment opportunity with an expected 6% return over three years, with profits distributed quarterly. The subscription period began on September 28, 2026, and concludes on October 11, 2026.

SIFC commenced operations earlier this year with a capital of JD30 million, focusing on innovation and digitization to serve various client segments. This initiative aligns with its goal to expand access to Islamic financing services and support economic growth.
