Rwanda signs nuclear power plant deal with the United States

Nairobi: The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) has announced the launch of the distributed renewable energy and clean cooking Project Preparation Facility

Ouagadougou: The Rwanda Atomic Energy Authority (Raeb) signed an agreement with the American company Nano Energy which notably provides for the construction of small modular reactors in Rwanda, according to information from Tass quoting an American newspaper.

According to The New Times, a Connecticut daily, Nano Energy will provide technical assistance to Rwanda and provide training for nuclear experts. Rwanda should also receive all the necessary modern infrastructure.
