Nairobi: Principal Secretary for Public Service and Human Capital Development, Dr. Jane Imbunya, has lauded National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) in Vihiga County for their contribution to public service delivery. Speaking during a meeting with the officers in Tiriki East, led by Deputy County Commissioner Mike Too, Dr. Imbunya underscored the crucial role they play in implementing President William Ruto’s vision for the country. She urged the administrators to embrace efficiency, transparency, and empathy in their work, noting that their dedication remains key to actualizing the President’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
According to Kenya News Agency, the success of the government’s programmes heavily relies on the commitment and professionalism of the NGAOs. Dr. Imbunya emphasized that their service at the grassroots level is where leadership truly meets the people. She pledged continued support to the officers, affirming that her ministry is committed to empowering public servants to deliver quality service to citizens.
