Kabete: Hundreds of learners from Uthiru, Gitaru, Muguga, and Nyathuna wards in Kabete municipality have received bursary cheques to support their education, easing the financial burden on families and promoting equal access to schooling. The bursaries, issued during a public event in Kabete, brought together students, parents, and local leaders who hailed the initiative as a lifeline for many households grappling with the rising cost of education.

The Uthiru ward representative, Erick Warugu, noted that many families faced financial challenges that often put their children at risk of dropping out. He emphasized that the support will keep children in school and give them hope.
