Nairobi: Two SportPesa Mega Jackpot bonus winners are set to enhance their fortunes with plans to invest in businesses, acquire property, and secure their financial futures.
According to Kenya News Agency, Joseph Sambu, a businessman based in Eldoret, walked away with a Sh6,114,150 Mega Jackpot bonus after correctly predicting 16 out of 17 matches. Sambu, originally from Ndalat in Nandi County, has been a regular SportPesa player for years and expressed his excitement at winning one of the biggest prizes. He noted that he always analyzes and evaluates all 17 games before placing his predictions, utilizing SportPesa’s Quick Pick feature for difficult matches, which contributed to 85 percent of his successful predictions.
Sambu shared that he received the winning notification during a medical check-up at the hospital. Confident in SportPesa’s prompt payout, he went to the hospital without money, and by the time he finished his treatment, the bonus was already credited to his account. He plans to invest in a long-desired business venture and use part of the money for property development.
Another winner, Charles Gethae, a plumber from Umoja Estate in Nairobi, received a Sh5,247,684 Mega Jackpot bonus after accurately predicting 15 out of 17 matches. Gethae has been consistently participating in the Mega Jackpot since 2016. Despite never having won a jackpot or bonus before, he occasionally succeeded through multibets. Gethae expressed his intention to continue playing while advocating for responsible betting and wise investments among young people.
