Busia: Busia County Assembly Speaker Fredrick Odilo has called for the establishment of a health club in the County to enhance both physical and mental wellness among the local residents. Speaking at the County Assembly during the flagging-off ceremony of the County Sports team participating in the County Assembly Sports Association 2025 Games (CASA) before they left for Meru County on Friday, Odilo emphasised the need for a facility that would address the rising concerns around mental health and fitness.
According to Kenya News Agency, Odilo highlighted the importance of creating a health club that would serve to maintain both the physical and mental health of the citizens. He expressed his hope that the Assembly’s leadership, through the Majority Leader, would engage the Executive to secure funding for the construction of such a facility.
