Royal Naval Force Rescues Teen from Drowning at Aqaba’s North Beach

Aqaba:A 19-year-old citizen was rescued by the Royal Naval Force’s Coast Guard unit and Royal Boats Command after a drowning incident at Aqaba’s North Beach.

According to Jordan News Agency, the rescue was initiated when one of the patrol boats identified the emergency and notified the Naval Operations Center. A rescue and safety vessel was promptly dispatched to the scene.

The young man was successfully rescued, received first aid, and was transported to a safety zone. He is reportedly in good health.

The Coast Guard is committed to conducting search, rescue, and medical aid operations around the clock. Additionally, it enforces maritime laws and protects tourism and industrial facilities in the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
