Addis Ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held discussion with his Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni on bilateral, regional and multilateral issues.
Abiy expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Giorgia for the discussion held on bilateral, regional and multilateral issues.

A wide range of topics of cooperation are covered in the summit agenda, such as infrastructure and economic development, energy and food security as well as culture, education, and combined efforts against terrorism and human trafficking.
Prime Minister Abiy has also been awarded the prestigious FAO Agricola Medal in a ceremony hosted by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome for his vision, leadership and commitment to food security and nutrition as well as the pursuit of innovative solutions in wheat self-sufficiency in the context of fast-changing and challenging circumstances.
