Eldoret:The County Pension Fund (CPF) has engaged in discussions with the management of the Uasin Gishu County Rural Water and Sanitation Company (URWASCO) to explore potential partnerships aimed at enhancing employee welfare and ensuring long-term financial security.
According to Kenya News Agency, the meeting brought together a team from CPF led by Team Lead Samuel Meli and URWASCO management headed by Managing Director Eng. Caroline Ngerechi. The discussions focused on collaboration opportunities to provide retirement benefits, investment options, and social security solutions for URWASCO staff across various categories.
Eng. Ngerechi emphasized that URWASCO’s priorities extend beyond maintaining rural water projects, highlighting the importance of employee welfare. She stated that it is crucial to implement measures that support the well-being and financial security of their employees.
CPF, which specializes in retirement benefits and related financial products, outlined possible collaboration methods to offer enhanced protection for URWASCO staff beyond their working years. Meli noted that with URWASCO starting operations, it is an ideal time to explore partnerships that secure the future of its workforce through appropriate financial solutions.
