Kiambu NG-CDF Rolls Out 2026 Bursary Forms

Kiambu: Kiambu Town Constituency has rolled out bursary application forms under the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) to support deserving learners in accessing education. The exercise, spearheaded by area Member of Parliament Machua Waithaka, targets residents across the four wards of Ndumberi, Ting’ang’a, Riabai, and Kiambu Town. Distribution centres have been set up within the wards to ensure ease of access for applicants.

According to Kenya News Agency, the MP shared a public notice through his official social media platforms, urging eligible residents to collect the forms promptly. He described the initiative as transparent, fair, and accessible to all constituents. ‘Every voter of Kiambu Constituency is qualified to apply. Let’s ensure no child is left behind,’ he said, reiterating his commitment to inclusive educational opportunities.

The bursary programme forms part of the 2025/2026 financial year allocation aimed at assisting needy students in secondary schools, tertiary institutions, and other levels of learning. Beneficiaries are selected through a need-based process to ensure support reaches vulnerable families. Applicants are required to submit duly completed forms accompanied by relevant documentation, including proof of admission, academic records, and details of household financial status. The documents should be returned to the designated ward collection centres or the constituency NG-CDF office within the stipulated timelines.

According to the MP’s office, distribution began in mid-February and will continue across the four wards to allow all eligible residents adequate time to apply. Ting’ang’a Ward is among the areas actively issuing the forms. Residents have been encouraged to seek clarification from the Kiambu NG-CDF office or the MP’s office should they require additional guidance on the application process.

The bursary initiative aligns with Hon. Waithaka’s sustained focus on education as a key pillar of socio-economic development in Kiambu Town Constituency, with the goal of ensuring financial constraints do not hinder students from pursuing their academic aspirations.
