Amman:The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the World Food Programme (WFP), has dispatched its 14th humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon.
According to Jordan News Agency, The convoy, comprising 20 trucks loaded with essential food supplies, is part of Jordan’s continued efforts to support the Lebanese population, particularly addressing food security and providing vital supplies to the most vulnerable communities.
Hussein Al-Shibli, JHCO Secretary-General, emphasized that this convoy highlights the ongoing coordination among Jordanian national institutions and international partners. This collaboration ensures that aid is delivered efficiently to those in need.
Al-Shibli also noted that JHCO, alongside the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and WFP, remains committed to offering assistance based on priority humanitarian needs through organized mechanisms that enhance response times and the effectiveness of aid distribution.
The organization expressed gratitude to the Syrian authorities for facilitating the convoy’s passage, which ensures the aid reaches its intended beneficiaries and strengthens joint humanitarian efforts.
