Addis Ababa: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie, welcomed the African Union’s Panel of the Wise.
On the occasion, the two sides discussed the positive roles that various parties, including Ethiopia, can play in bringing peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
The Panel, established by the AU Assembly of Heads of State and Government in December 2007, is tasked with leading the AU’s preventive diplomacy efforts through mediation.
