Curriculum Council Head Elected President of International Anti-Corruption Academy Board

Amman:Muhyiddine Touq, Head of the Higher Council of the National Centre for Curriculum Development (NCCD), has been elected as the president of the Board of Governors of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) for a two-year term.

According to Jordan News Agency, the IACA is an international scientific institution founded in 2010 through an agreement between Austria and the United Nations. It offers academic programs and specialized courses on anti-corruption. Jordan was among the initial signatories of the agreement establishing the academy.

The IACA boasts 84 members worldwide, including several Arab nations. Touq’s prior involvement with the academy includes serving as co-chair during its launch ceremony, which was attended by former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
