Ouagadougou: The Stallions A’ left Ouagadougou on Wednesday for Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) to take part in the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) co-organized by three countries, announced the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the team received warm encouragement from the President of the FBF at Ouagadougou International Airport before their flight to Tanzania. The FBF’s communications department highlighted this “strong gesture to galvanize the troops a few hours before a great challenge.”
The Burkinabe team is set to play the opening match of the competition on August 2nd against Tanzania, one of the three host countries.
