Water Supply Boost in Elburgon.

Nakuru: Nakuru County Government has initiated the construction of a 50,000-liter water tank at Nyakiambi Farm in Elburgon Ward, Molo Sub-County. This project is expected to benefit over 500 residents by providing them with access to safe, clean, and potable water for domestic use.

According to Kenya News Agency, the initiative aligns with Governor Susan Kihika’s commitment to ensuring the provision of quality and safe water to all residents of Nakuru County. The new water tank will enhance water supply and storage capacity, leading to improved health and sanitation conditions for the community.

Furthermore, the project supports the County’s broader goal of strengthening infrastructure and promoting sustainable water management practices. While inspecting the project today, County Engineer Michael Kamau stated that the water will be sufficient to assist farmers in irrigating their farms during the drought season, thereby preventing them from leaving the land bare for five months due to lack of water.
