The Governor urged healthcare workers in Vihiga hospitals to ensure appropriate and efficient use of the drugs, mentioning the implementation of a digital system to track drug utilization. He also announced that Vihiga County had surpassed the World Health Organisation’s standards by having health facilities within a 5 km radius of the population.
Furthermore, the governor accepted donations of health equipment from various non-governmental organizations, enhancing the county’s efforts to improve healthcare service delivery.
