Jakarta:Trans Nzoia Residents are set to benefit as the government announces an allocation of Sh18 billion for infrastructure development, which includes eight road projects spanning 292 kilometers across the county.
According to Kenya News Agency, President William Ruto highlighted the importance of these projects in enhancing connectivity, easing the movement of people and farm produce, and linking communities to essential services. In terms of student accommodation, the Kitale National Polytechnic will receive a new hostel to house 4,500 students, as part of an initiative to expand housing in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
