PS Motari Calls on Kenyans to Support Educational Institutions

Kuria east: Social Protection and Senior Citizens Affairs Principal Secretary Joseph Motari has called upon Kenyans, particularly those in leadership roles, to contribute towards improving the learning conditions at educational institutions they once attended. Motari emphasized the importance of giving back to these institutions to foster infrastructural development.

According to Kenya News Agency, Motari made these remarks during a visit to his former primary school, Nyabikongori Comprehensive School, in Kuria East Sub-County. He highlighted the importance of transforming former learning institutions to provide better conditions for current students. Through his personal efforts, the school has seen significant improvements with the construction of four ultra-modern classrooms equipped with tiles, ceilings, and electricity, which aim to provide a conducive learning environment.

The newly constructed classrooms are designed to accommodate approximately 70 students each, addressing issues of overcrowding and enhancing safety. Daniel Chacha, the Head of the Institution, expressed optimism that the new facilities would significantly improve educational standards. The previous building had been deemed unsuitable for learning by the Ministry of Health.

Motari, who attended Taranganya and Isebia secondary schools, announced plans to commission a new laboratory and library at Taranganya Boys and to organize a fundraiser for Isebania Boys High School later this month. He also urged the residents of Kuria and the broader Migori region to support the current government under President Dr. William Ruto’s leadership.

The event also saw the attendance of Monica Motari, a parliamentary aspirant for the Kuria East Constituency.
