Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior hosted Netherlands Ambassador to Kenya Maarten Brouwer in his Wote office.
Makueni held its second annual partners conference in Nairobi, discussing ethical fundraising for the county, focusing on partnerships in green energy investment, health promotion, and agriculture sectors.
The partnership will be anchored in the County Integrated Development Plan (2023-2027).
Mutula emphasized the importance of partners in economic and sustainable development to improve the livelihoods of Makueni residents, urging an additional Sh49 billion to meet the funding gap for 2023/2027 CIDP. The conference brought together partners on health, water, education, environment, and energy among other sectors.
