Nairobi:Kiambu County: The construction of a modern academic block at Kamangu Secondary School in Nachu Ward is expected to significantly enhance the learning environment. The project includes five classrooms, two science laboratories, and administration offices, which aim to alleviate congestion and improve educational facilities at the school.
According to Kenya News Agency, Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wa emphasized the project’s role in empowering the next generation, highlighting the commitment to supporting local schools. He noted that the new science laboratories would enhance the teaching of practical subjects, addressing previous challenges related to inadequate facilities.
The project is part of a larger initiative to upgrade learning infrastructure across the constituency. MP Ichung’wa stressed the importance of timely completion and quality assurance for the project and encouraged the local community to take an active role in maintaining the new facilities once completed.
School administrators and local residents expressed their support for the construction, noting its potential to accommodate a growing student population and improve academic outcomes, particularly in science.
