The third MINTEX Mining and Technology Expo will be held in Addis Ababa at the Millennium Hall on November 23-26, 2024, Ethiopia’s Ministry of Mines announced.
Several international companies engaged in the sector are expected to participate at the four day event.
The Expo is expected to highlight Ethiopia’s mining potential and encourage investment in the industry by drawing technology providers and mining investors together.
The event also plays pivotal role in terms of promoting the products of Ethiopian investors engaged in the sector to the international market.
The ministry said the necessary preparations have been completed to conduct the expo successfully.
Ethiopia is endowed with vast mineral resources including gold and precious stones that hold immense potential to transform the country’s economy.
