Khwisero Residents To Get Electricity Supply

Khwisero: Residents of Kisa Central Ward in Khwisero Constituency are set to benefit from improved electricity supply, following the installation of a new transformer in the area. Khwisero Member of Parliament (MP), Christopher Aseka, announced the development yesterday, during a visit to inspect National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) projects in the Constituency.

According to Kenya News Agency, the transformer is expected to improve electricity distribution in the Ematundu and Emaholia villages of Wambulishe Sub-location and facilitate the connection of more households and businesses to the national power grid. Aseka said the project would help unlock economic opportunities for residents by supporting small-scale enterprises, improving security, and enabling learners to study under better conditions.

Aseka emphasized that the installation of the transformer is an important step towards improving electricity access and supporting development in Ematundu and Emaholia villages. The MP expressed anticipation for its official commissioning, which will mark the completion of the installation process and pave the way for the transformer to serve the intended beneficiaries.

The MP further highlighted that access to reliable electricity would help residents establish and expand businesses, improve household welfare, and contribute to the growth of the local economy. The project is also expected to support public facilities and other essential services that depend on electricity.

Aseka assured that he will continue supporting projects aimed at improving infrastructure and access to essential services across the constituency, reinforcing his commitment to development initiatives that benefit the residents.
