Kerugoya Huduma Centre Celebrates Customer Service Week with Philanthropic Visit

Kerugoya:The Kerugoya Huduma Centre celebrated Customer Service Week by visiting Kianyaga Children’s Home in Gichugu, Kirinyaga East Sub-County. The visit was part of the centre’s efforts to spread goodwill and support the local community during the annual celebration.

According to Kenya News Agency, the Huduma team, led by Centre Manager Stella Mukami, donated various food items and clothes to the children’s home. Mukami emphasized the importance of the visit in fostering community connection and highlighted the services available at the Kerugoya Huduma Centre.

Mukami expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the home’s management and extended best wishes to the children preparing for examinations. She conveyed her hope for their success in academics and life.

Rose Kiongo, the manager of Kianyaga Children’s Home, expressed her appreciation for the Huduma Centre’s gesture. The home accommodates 34 children and employs 14 staff members. Kiongo noted that the donated items would significantly support the children’s needs.

The visit underscored the broader role of Customer Service Week in promoting not only service excellence but also compassion and support for vulnerable community members. Kiongo praised the Huduma team’s commitment and encouraged them to continue their community engagement efforts.
