Ouagadougou: 90 Burkinabe trained in entrepreneurship and patriotic commitment offered, at the end of their seminar, a ton of cement to the Faso Mêbo Presidential Initiative, to mark their civic commitment and their support for nation-building efforts.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the young participants gathered in Ouagadougou from July 15 to 17, 2025, as part of mission 3 of the Project to support youth employment and skills development in rural areas (PADEJ-MR). They were incubated by the IMAT Consul firm, focusing on entrepreneurship and the values of commitment and change.
The session aimed to enhance the civic awareness of the participants, who came from across Burkina Faso, and to emphasize their role in fostering a stable, united, and prosperous nation.
In a symbolic act of patriotism, the young attendees donated a ton of cement to Faso Mêbo, an initiative backed by President Ibrahim Traoré. This gesture is intended to be the first of many civic actions the group plans to undertake.
Bl
aise Kientaga, head of the delegation and member of the program coordination team, remarked, “An entrepreneur without patriotic conscience is a danger not only to the economy, but also to the foundations of a nation under construction.” He emphasized that the training provided by IMAT Consul is designed to instill a strong sense of patriotism in future entrepreneurs, ensuring that the welfare of Burkina Faso remains central to their endeavors.
The participants expressed their admiration for Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s leadership, whose vision and efforts to elevate Burkina Faso on the African stage serve as a significant inspiration for the entrepreneurial youth.
