Today, CS Mithika Linturi held a consultative meeting with the Fertilizer Association of Kenya led by their Chairman Eustace Muriuki at Kilimo House.
The CS said that the Ministry will work closely with the association, to give farmers access to affordable fertilizer in order to increase food production and lower the cost of food in the country.
The high cost of farm input remains the biggest challenge to farmers, but the Kenya Kwanza Government will implement policies that will favour and protect both the farmers and industry players, said the CS.
