Senator Ole Kina Defends Seat

Ledama Ole Kina, has been re-elected the Narok senator for the second term beating the incumbent governor Samuel Tunai.
Ole Kina of ODM managed 135, 180 votes against Tunai, UDA, who garnered 117, 869 votes. The announcement was made this evening by the County Elections Manager Mr. Sidney Namulundu.
Others in the same race were incumbent Kilgoris Member of Parliament Gideon Konchella, Jubilee, who got 11, 827 votes while Leonard Cheruiyot who vied on an Independent ticket managed 17, 079 votes.
Ole Kina thanked the Narok people for putting confidence in him, promising to work closely with the governor to boost the living standards of the people.
He urged Narok residents to remain calm even as they await the gubernatorial results to be announced.
