The PS for Livestock Development, Harry Kimtai, today morning signed an MOU for the Kenya Meat Expo 2023 between Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, State Department of Livestock Development and KEPROBA, KEMLEIC, RETRAK, KMG and GATSBY(GA). The signed memrundum of understanding (MOU) is to set the terms and conditions for collaboration and cooperation in the meat expo 2023. Kimtai said in the meeting that, the only pathway for achieving the transformation desired to attain the Livestock sector’s full potential is in collaborative efforts between private sector players and government agencies. According to the MOU, the meat expo shall be sustained as an annual event to promote investments in the value chain as well as engage meat consumers a quality and safety issues in meat.
