Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Harry Kimtai has today said that the Ministry, through his Livestock Department, is set to implement the DRIVE project to 21 Counties in the Country. PS said this when he briefed a team from world Bank mission for DRIVE Project, on the current level of preparedness adding that implementing stakeholders have already senzitised 21 Governors from Arid and Semi Arid Lands (ASALS) Counties on the implementation modalities of the project. He told them that the Livestock Department has already partnered with ZEP_RE (PTA) Reinsurance Company and Kenya Development Corporation (KDC) for implementation strength. DRIVE is dubbed, (De_risking inclusion and Value enhancement of Pastoral Economies).
