On 23 November 2022, General Michael E. Langley Combatant Commander USAFRICOM paid a courtesy call to the Cabinet Secretary for Defence Hon. Aden Duale and the Chief of Defence Forces General Robert Kibochi at the Defence Headquarters.
The leaders held discussions on various areas of mutual interest including Defence Cooperation, Defence engagements, and future areas of cooperation.
In addition, they discussed on the contributions of Kenya in peace and security as an anchor state in the region.
