KCB Donates Ramadhan Food Baskets For 200 Poor Families

Kenya Commercial Bank Mandera branch has donated food baskets to more than 200 families amounting to Sh500, 000.

The food baskets aim to help less fortunate families in the society during this period of Ramadhan as Iftar rations.

Food distributed included 5 kgs of rice, 3 kgs of sugar, 2kgs maize flour, 3 litres of cooking fat and one packet of tea leaves.

Each household will receive an equal amount of rations of food distributed.

Area KCB branch director-Mandera Jillo Wako said KCB in partnership with Sahal Bank will continue its support to the less fortunate every time.

Mandera Deputy Governor Ali Maalim thanked the KCB partners for their timely support whenever need arises.

He further urged other partners to intensify support to Mandera County.

The month of Ramadhan creates a perfect opportunity to share and promote unity besides coming to the aid of those in need of assistance.

The humanitarian gesture is part of Sahl Bank, KCB Bank’s Islamic banking arm, efforts to enhance the spirit of solidarity and cooperation with the communities in Mandera County.
