A joint FIFA/CAF delegation is in the country for meetings with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) leadership and Youth Affairs, Sports, and the Arts Cabinet Secretary, Ababu Namwamba.
The two day visit follows the lifting of Kenya’s suspension by the World Sports Governing body on November 28, 2022.
The FIFA members in the delegation include Gelson Fernandes, Director Member Associations (MA) Africa and Nodar Akhalkatsi, Director Strategic Projects and MA Governance.
Also part of the delegation is Solomon Mudege, Head of Development Programs, Alessandro Gramalgia Strategic Development Manager and Sarah Solemale Senior MA Governance Manager.
Besides the FIFA members, Naddim Magdy, a Legal counsel at CAF is also a part of the delegation.
The discussions will focus on the recently lifted suspension and the development of football in Kenya.
