It’s All Systems Go For The National Examinations In Nyamira

Preparations for the KPSEA, KCPE, and KCSE National examinations in Nyamira South Sub County are complete.
Nyamira South Deputy County Commissioner, Florence Obunga confirmed to press that all is set for candidates of grade six and class 8 to sit for their national examination papers starting coming Monday.
“All our security machinery is prepared and ready to ensure that the examinations are carried out smoothly with the credibility it deserves and with no insecurity incidents reported,” she confirmed.
The DCC revealed that they have issued an operation order dubbed ‘Operation Linda Mutihani’ which will ensure tight security is maintained throughout the examination period both at primary and secondary school examination centres and for candidates.
“All the examination centre managers, supervisors and invigilators have been adequately briefed and are on the knowhow on what is expected of them while administering the national exams to the candidates,” explained the DCC.
She further said they have a standby team of security officers who will deal with any unforeseen exam related emergency to ensure the exams are undertaken as scheduled without interruptions.
“I’m sending a solemn appeal to parents and caregivers of all our candidates to ensure they give candidates all the needed support for them to write their exams confidently,” Ms. Obunga appealed.
She sternly warned any person who might be planning to interfere or compromise the integrity of these examinations that they will be dealt with severely.
Nyamira South Sub County has a total of 4493 Kenya Primary School Examination Assessment (KPSEA) candidates who will undertake their exams in 133 examination centres, 6350 KCPE candidates who will to do their exams from 124 examination centres and 5173 KCSE candidates who will take the exams from 50 examination centres.
