Africa Matters: Maasai women cash in on cactus

Kenya’s Laikipia county is home to the nomadic Maasai people. Finding fodder for livestock in a semi-arid region can be hard, and it’s made worse by an invasive species of cactus known as opuntia. But a group of women has found ways to not only remove the harmful plant, but to cash in on it, too.
