71 Adults Are Among KCSE Candidates In Makueni

Seventy-one (71) adults are among 29,518 candidates in Makueni County sitting for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
They include 35 males and 36 females and they are sitting the exams at six examination centers across the county, which has a total of 413 examination centers.
One candidate is sitting for the exams at Makindu Level four hospital after safely delivering a baby.
“We will ensure that all candidates sit for the exams, and any emerging issues shall be addressed immediately, any unwell candidates will sit their exams at the hospital,” said Makueni County Commissioner (CC) Beverly Opwora during opening and distribution of national exams to centre managers at Wote administration office compound on Friday Morning.
The Commissioner said that they will be closely monitoring the exercise as a multi-agency team urging the stakeholders to provide a conducive environment for the candidates during this period, adding that the county is committed to delivering credible exams.
Also present during the exercise were Makueni DCC Joel Mwangala together with the County and Subcounty directors of Education.
